Naankuse1The Shiloh Wildlife Sanctuary – a sanctuary established through the collaboration of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation and the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary will provide a safe place to rehabilitate rhinos and elephant. The sanctuary forms the crucial heartbeat in caring for any rhinos and elephants having been injured or orphaned in incidents of poaching.

Ultimately, the Shiloh Wildlife Sanctuary is a place of hope and a second chance for Africa’s gentle giants and horned behemoths, animals given a future where previous circumstance would otherwise have denied them the right to life. The facility is equipped with holding pens, trucks, crates and veterinary equipment, and the expertise of a full-time veterinarian fully enhance the dedicated and professional level of care. Animals that come to the facility will be cared for until they are ready to be returned to their places of origin.

Volunteers can get involved in and help at this incredible new sanctuary by joining the Naankuse Big Cat, Wild Dog and Elephant Conservation Project at Mangetti.
